my last name is hyman

and people choose to do one of two things

• assume it’s actually ‘hymen’ and spell it that way and pronounce it okay
• assume it is the polar opposite and, though spelling it correctly, choose to pronounce it terribly. like ‘hey-man’ or ‘high-man’ or even ‘hih-min’

Rogers is easy but it’s always spelled with a fucking D. I shoud not need to say “ROGERS- WITH OUT THE D.” when you look me up in your system.
